Best Time to Post on Instagram, TikTok and Telegram

2 min read · оновлено 16.10.2026 20:27

The same post can get 300 or 3,000 views depending on when you published it. The reason is simple: in the first hours the algorithm shows a post to part of your followers, and if they are asleep or at work at that time, there are few signals. Here is how to find your best time.

General guidelines

For a Ukrainian audience, these windows work most often (Kyiv time):

  • 7:30-9:00: the commute, the first coffee;
  • 12:00-14:00: lunch break;
  • 19:00-22:00: evening, the highest activity in most niches.

On weekends activity shifts: mornings start later, and the peak is often at 11:00-14:00 and 20:00-22:00.

How to check your analytics

Instagram. Professional dashboard → "Audience" → "Most active times". You can see the hours and days when followers are online.

TikTok. Creator tools → "Analytics" → "Followers" → "Follower activity".

Telegram. Channel statistics (available from a certain number of subscribers) → views by hour chart.

YouTube. Studio → "Analytics" → "Audience" → "When your viewers are on YouTube".

How to find your time in practice

  1. Take two or three windows from your analytics.
  2. For two weeks, publish similar content at different times.
  3. Compare not likes but reach in the first 2-3 hours: that is what shows whether you guessed the time right.
  4. Keep the best window and publish 30-60 minutes before the peak, so the post has time to collect its first reactions.

How often to post

  • Instagram: 3-5 posts or Reels a week and Stories every day.
  • TikTok: at least one video a day, if you can.
  • Telegram: 1-3 posts a day; the main thing is a steady rhythm.
  • YouTube: one long video a week and a few Shorts.

Consistency matters more than quantity: algorithms and people get used to your rhythm.

The first hour after posting

Don't disappear after publishing:

  • reply to comments, which prolongs the discussion;
  • share the post to your Stories;
  • pin the most interesting comment.

New accounts often lack the activity in the first hours for the algorithm to "notice" a post. Auto-likes and auto-views can help here: they are added to every new post automatically, with a delay you set. Read how it works in the article about auto services.

Questions & answers

Is it worth scheduling posts with a scheduler?

Yes, it is convenient. Instagram, TikTok and Telegram have built-in scheduling, and it doesn't affect reach.

What if my audience is in different time zones?

Focus on the largest part of your audience, and for the others publish Stories or repeat announcements at another time.
